Toronto International Design Centre Marketing Coordinator (full-time)

Reporting to the Director, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting marketing operations and providing administrative support including:

· Writing and creating marketing materials such as newsletters, social media, event and leasing content.

· Drafting internal/vendor communications.

· Monitoring online social conversations.

· Regularly scanning and updating the centre’s digital assets for content updates.

· Developing marketing and PR plans and executing on timelines.

· Quarterly reporting on digital assets.

· Liaising with vendors, outside agencies and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered and completed in a timely manner.

· Administrative duties such as maintaining supplier lists, invoice tracking, scheduling, monitoring inventory levels of promotional items and supplies, etc.

· Providing daily back up, welcoming and checking in guests at the Design Services kiosk.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

· Post-secondary education from a Marketing, Public Relations or Digital Media program or equivalent work experience from an Ad/Marketing or Creative Agency.

· Excellent written communication skills with emphasis on proofreading and grammar excellence.

· Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines.

· Demonstrated expertise with social media and its various digital platforms such as Hootsuite and content creation apps such as Canva. Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset.

· Experience with Survey Monkey, Mailchimp and email/sms marketing.

· Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and a willingness to learn new applications and systems.

· Interior design and architecture industry knowledge, B2B relationship marketing, retail and property management/leasing marketing considered assets.
