Your Opportunity:
This position is based out of the Camrose Community Health Centre with travel 1-2 days a week to several satellite sites. Camrose is a small city approximately 55min south east of Edmonton. Camrose acts as a hub for several neighboring communities thus Camrose has everything from big box stores, to a recreation centre, cross country ski trails, and much more. Although Camrose is boasting with amenities it still maintains it’s small town charm with small town shops and cafes. The caseload is primarily pediatrics with a small adult component. Responsibilities include supervising Therapy Assistants.

As an Audiologist, you will be working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, where you will be responsible for the screening, identification, assessment and management of patients (clients) presenting with hearing and balance (vestibular) disorders. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will be important to you in supervising students and providing clinical guidance to other staff as appropriate. You will use your clinical expertise to inform program development and planning. You will interpret findings, provide counselling regarding hearing loss and balance dysfunction, and establish appropriate intervention plans to manage and reduce the functional impact of hearing loss. You will provide patients, their families and other professionals with information and recommendations; making referrals to other agencies and professionals as required.

Experience working with pediatrics.
