Who are we seeking to join our team?

GoCo is looking for an Account Managers to join our expanding sales team in Vancouver.

As Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business by following up on inbound marketing leads, cold calling, qualifying needs, selling appropriate products and services, and developing strong customer satisfaction via phone (inside sales), web contact, and calling on your existing book.

You will contribute to the team by:

  • Meeting and exceeding monthly and annual quota
  • Providing prompt phone/email follow up to all inbound leads and properly document and track results
  • Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Building and maintaining knowledge base to become an expert on our products and services
  • Utilizing CRM to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and effectively manage leads
  • Cold-calling prospects that are generated by external sources of lead as well as self-generated leads
  • Collaborating with Sales Supervisor and supporting teams to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Maintaining and expanding the company’s database of prospects
  • Overcoming objections of prospective customers
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Perform other duties as required

What qualifications do you bring to the team?

  • 5 years of Canadian Business-to-Business experience in Sales
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience with selling business-to-business telecommunication services
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
  • This position offers a competitive base plus commission & bonus structure.

Must Have:
Previous sales experience in Business Telecommunications
